Oh, hi friends!

My computer is sluggish like a sloth (yes, again).

So I took 10 minutes to run my little clean-up program (Clean My Mac is the only thing that's saved my 2012 MacBook Air) and whaddaya know, now we’re humming along.

The same thing happens when I take 10 minutes in the morning to sort my priorities, highlighting the really “on fire” ones (aka the things that must get done today or else). Or when I straighten up my desk before I begin.

Now I want to take 10 minutes to look at my calendar for all of April and think seriously about what I can—and can't—do. Remove events that aren't happening, add deadlines that are happening, and get all my ducks in a row.

Clean a little, sort a little, breathe a little…then do the work.

A beauty from my favorite photographer Malcolm Jones. Check out his others!

“Time goes too quickly” is a belief system. Like all belief systems, the more you believe that it’s true, the more true it becomes. You encounter manifestations of this core belief everywhere.”

An antidote from “Ask Polly” if you, like me, are marveling at how fast the months are flying by. Maybe I should stop noticing and saying "the months are flying by" and just...live them?

YouTube has been recommending this video to me for weeks. I finally watched it. YouTube was right. It was just what I needed to hear. Seth Godin on how to finish your work and ship it. (The short answer is...you run out of time or money. And then you ship.)

Why do human beings sabotage their work so often?
You don't need to be more creative.
What you need is a quieter lizard brain.
