Greetings scouts and parents of Troop 171!

My name is Jacob Goldstein and I will be having my Eagle Scout Project workdays this upcoming Saturday, March 23rd, at Mount Mourne IB middle school in Mooresville. During this workday, we will be assembling 3 park benches and landscaping a flower bed to put the benches in. I am planning on completing my project during this weekend because of upcoming events scheduled at Mount Mourne in the following 2 weeks. Due to this, I believe we can finish it in one day but if we don't I will host a second workday on Sunday the 24th for however long it takes us to finish.

With that being said, I would greatly appreciate any help by adults and scouts to help me complete my project. I will need about 2-3 adults, 3 senior scouts, and around 6-8 younger scouts to help me with the project. Due to the fact that I am planning on working all day Saturday, I understand if you will not be able to come for all 8 hours. However, coming for the first few hours or in the middle of the day will really help my project progress. Water, snacks, and pizza will be provided throughout the day. All you need to bring is yourselves and some work gloves.

Also, on a quick notice, if there were to be a weather issue (not likely) I will still have my project because I have keys to the school and we can assemble the benches in the gym.

What: Assembling 3 park benches and landscaping a flower bed to hold them along with planting flowers.

When:

• Saturday, March 23rd, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Sunday, March 24th, only if necessary.

Where:

• Mount Mourne IB Middle School, 1431 Mecklenburg Highway, Mooresville, NC 28115
• We will be working close to the front office (specifically to the right) so you can park in the main teacher/visitor parking lot.
