Old clothes - Fridge!
Every trip to eSwatini, volunteers are encouraged to wear old clothes and leave them behind. We leave the clothes with 3 of our sponsored orphaned kids including Mphilo (pictured) to sell as a small business venture. They wash the clothes, mend them if needed and sell them door to door.
I always ask the girls how they spend the money. One girl told me she bought electrical units (they pay per unit for lights). Another said she used it for transport to school when it was too rainy to walk. But Mphilo told me she needed to show me something. We walked into her brother's room where she modeled a brand new fridge. So proud of these girls!

Let's help him get promoted!
Njabuliso graduated from automotive engineering at Voctim college. He’s now working full time as a mechanic. However, to be promoted within his field, he has to take a practical exam. It’s over a month long where he proves he’s capable of managing a job rather than simply working on the car under supervision. Unfortunately this exam is expensive. and we're $340 short. Does anyone have $5 to contribute? I’m so proud and thankful of our GHFP tribe. None of these children have gotten as far as they have in life without your support!!
