Developing Purpose

Our students put effort and courage into their endeavors every day, in the classroom, on the fields and in the studio. Our goal as educators is to provide opportunities for students to build the foundation of purpose and direction that will support those efforts.
State of the Lab

The Innovation Lab has come a long way from our humble beginnings of just one teacher, a couple of courses and a single room with only a few tools. We now have a full-time staff of seven dedicated individuals who serve nearly 75 percent of the student body.

Senior Spotlight: Grant Miller


In summer 2018, Grant Miller ’19 worked in a lab researching liver cancer at the UC San Diego biomedical research facility. He then presented his research and findings at the University of Southern California graduate research forum with college students. He credits his AP Biology class for this new passion.

Students presented the original products they designed at the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago with 60,000 attendees.

Career Day


Alumni returned to campus to speak at Upper School assembly about their career paths before holding individual breakout sessions with the senior class. 

Cum Laude Society Induction Ceremony


Twenty-one juniors and seniors were welcomed into the Cum Laude Society based on their academic, athletic and extracurricular activities and achievements.

Basketball Champions


Congratulations to the men’s varsity basketball team on winning the California Interscholastic Federation Division III State Championship.
