The base held an event which we called "Presidents Week", where they invited Leaders and CEOs from a bunch of different companies and organisations to come and share in the vision of what YWAM San Diego/Baja is doing in Mexico and around the world! It was an amazing time, and we got to meet and serve some incredible people! Brandon Heath actually came and preformed, and Jennifersara and I were able to listen to and meet Dr. Henry Cloud, who is one of the authors of the "Boundaries" books!

The base also held one of its "Staff Conferences", which is another event where the Staff members from all three bases come together to grow, reflect, and come before God! This year's focus was "Abide and Alignment", and was centered around how we as staff are abiding in Christ, and to make sure that we are truly aligned with the calling of God and what He has for us! This again was another amazing experience, as there were workshops (topic centered talks from various speakers), community fun times and prizes, as well as incredible worship times! God really moved and was yet another great opportunity for us to serve!

6 Month Anniversary
|
|
|
Another amazing, and probably the biggest Testimony of this month is that God provided us with a Home!! After being told that there were no one bedroom apartments for our price range around this area, we came together and prayed and not even two days later we received a text saying the exact opposite! This is such an answer to our prayers and honestly we are both beyond words! The fact that there is usually a waiting list, and that God literally opened a door that was not opened before, is nothing but God's Love! It is the exact apartment that we had our eye on, and though it is not without its difficulties and adjustments, we are so excited to begin making this a home together- our first home! It is slowly but surely coming together!

We Got an Apartment!

One amazing testimony has to do with our couch! God really blessed us and we were able to purchase a barely used second hand couch, less than a year old, with an ottoman and spare couch cover for only $150! We then looked online and it is an Ikea couch, and everything that we got for only $150, originally would've cost us almost $1000. It is a super comfy couch and we are truly blessed by it!

|
From the beginning of February, Aaron was dealing with a few cold symptoms, however as they progressed it developed into Bronchitis. This was over the span of about 3 weeks before he eventually went to the doctors. The day before he went, he couldn't breath and his chest was wheezing quite badly. We weren't sleeping and so we decided it was time. He is now on a few different medications and is slowly recovering. Please be Praying as it seems to have come back and his cough is not getting better..

|
I was able to go on another house build in February! I basically led the team doing the roof and so I was able to get some more experience leading as a B-Builder! It was a really good team and I enjoyed it a lot! The family didn't speak the normal dialect of Spanish and so we had two translators again, one of which is wearing the red sweater in picture above in the top left hand corner!

 On March 15th, Jennifersara took over the Hospitality department as a temporary manager, and has been running and leading it full time! It has been a great opportunity for her to grow in her leadership skills, however has be a very intensive role with a lot of responsibility and long hours. She is now in charge of a lot, including: room placements for teams, cleaning schedules, work duties, upfront communications, solving problems and questions any guest may have, key management, team organising, etc. |

Aaron will continue to serve wherever the need may be, especially focusing on his training as a B-Builder for Homes of Hope. He will also continue on growing in his management and leadership skills, working under the Operations Manager! As well as helping Jennifersara in anyway that he can. |

CAR
We are still looking to buy a car here so we can get around, however they can be expensive. So please keep us in prayer that God would provide!

Prayer that God would give us everything that we need to do our new roles with excellence and that He would give us energy and wisdom!

Prayer that God would continue to bring in the finances we need, especially for Health Insurance.

That Aaron would continue to heal, and prayer that God would protect Jennifersara from any health issues as she takes on this new role!

"We have both been overwhelmed with blessings again and again, as God without fail continues to provide for us and give us favor! We have seen such a shift in our relationships with other couples on staff and it has been amazing to see the strong friendships we are building! He has not only started to provide the emotional support, but also has miraculously provided us with a Home!!! This has been the greatest answer to our prayers and although it is not without its difficulties, we are beyond grateful for the blessing that this new home will be for us! God is truly faithful in every way and we cannot wait for what else He has in store for us!
