Update On My Dad
and Close Friends

I got home on Tuesday last week and spent a lot of time with my dad. He died on Thursday and was never able to communicate with anyone during the time I was there.
I am working with my family on the arrangements. I've been working to get the background data and facts together so we can write the obituaries and have some material for the officiant for the memorial service.
- Beckie and Malia fly here on March 27
- David, Dan, Anne, and Aria fly here on March 28
- David and Andrea return from New Zealand the morning of March 30
- The memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 30.
- We will depart from Portland on Sunday, March 31.
Tim and Bonnie McGill have been our friends for many years. Tim is Morrison's superintendent, Bonnie is our personnel director, and their son, Nathan, was our son, David's friend in high school. They also have a daughter, Angel. Bonnie is in the hospital with terminal cancer. Nathan, his family, and Angel are flying to Taiwan this week to spend time with their mom.
Prayer for:
- the McGill family that they can spend a joyful time together and that Bonnie's pain would not keep her from having significate time with her family.
- the people covering for me to have the strength to do not only their own work but my work that they are picking up.
- Dwight's family as there will be a number of details to work through and that we continue to communicate well with each other.
