This webinar will encourage RDNs to approach corporate wellness opportunities with confidence. During this webinar participants will learn about what a typical day in the life of a Corporate Wellness Manager looks like; challenges associated with corporate wellness work; and corporate food policy guidelines.

Speaker bio:
Tylane Garrett manages the corporate wellness program for Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s, the national leading retailers of outdoor gear. She studied Exercise Science at Missouri State University and graduated with her first Bachelors in 2005. Passionate about nutrition, Tylane graduated in 2010 with her second Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and soon became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.  She is an active member of the Food Collaborative in Springfield, Missouri, and co-founder of the Healthy Food Pantry Collaborative (HFPC). Last year, she led the Southwest Missouri Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics group as President. Tylane is an active member of The Academy’s Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group and advocates for evidence-based obesity management strategies within her corporate position. She was recently awarded the Public Affairs Preceptor of the Year by Missouri State University and received the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year award for the SW Missouri district in 2018. In her free time, Tylane loves cooking with interesting ingredients, visiting new restaurants, and hiking outdoors with her boys.
