As one of the captains of the digital technology industry in Malaysia, MACROKIOSK’s Founders were invited to the exclusive launch of Digital Native Agenda (DNA23), an initiative championed by YB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim (President, People’s Justice Party (PKR) & Chairman, Parliamentary Caucus on Governance & Reforms) to drive the nation towards the digital age.

DNA23 is established as a special movement to help Malaysia seize opportunities in digital technology in the now. This ethos is shared by the Founders and deeply rooted in their beliefs and they’re proud to support such significant cause.

Speaking at the launch was YB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and YB Gobind Singh Deo (Minister of Communications and Multimedia), who both discussed about the nation’s digital economy, technology infrastructure as well as plans and initiatives that would help propel Malaysia to become a digital powerhouse.

During The International Conference On Greater KL and Putrajaya held last month at the Palace of the Golden Horses in Selangor, Malaysia, Co-Founder Dato’ Henry Goh spoke about the importance of employing digital technology as one of the means to steer the city towards transformation during the session titled “Reimagining Greater KL – Towards A Smart And Sustainable City”. Co-Founder Dato’ Kenny Goh was also in attendance at the conference, which was graced by YB Tuan Haji Khalid Bin Abdul Samad (Minister of Federal Territories). 

Both Founders had a session with the minister to discuss insights on how to achieve a great city not just with great infrastructure, but also with great talents. Having established a founding office in the heart of KL, MACROKIOSK Malaysia has attracted close to 200 high-skilled talents within its workforce as it recognises that being located in a great city helps to attract good talents, among other factors.
