AMRC publishes new sector impact report
Last week we launched our new impact report that showcases outcomes from research funded by 44 AMRC member charities. The key findings are summarised in a two-page infographic and the full digital report takes an in-depth look at how charities make a difference in five different impact areas.

Spring has sprung
Last week, Chancellor Phillip Hammond delivered his annual Spring Statement which updates the Government’s financial commitments. Though light on research and innovation content, it was announced that a new international research and innovation strategy will be published in the coming months.

Obligatory Brexit update - we still don't know what's going on
The Prime Minister will ask for a short extension at today’s European Council meeting of EU leaders which she is likely going to get contingent on her deal being passed next week. If the deal is not passed, EU leaders are expected to hold a special Council meeting on 28 March and offer a longer extension to May.
