YOUR WEEKLY BRIEFING OF EVERYTHING SOCIAL MEDIA, BUSINESS GROWTH & BEYOND

If your business is struggling and you are not getting any sales at all then you will know how frustrating it can be. If you want to move past this then you first need to understand the reasons why your customers are not buying from you.

Lack of Awareness

Customers cannot buy products from you if they don’t know who you are. If you happen to be marketing but your customers know nothing about your product then you need to evaluate this. Think about it, are you targeting the right market? Is your message actually reaching those who have an interest in your product? You have to remember that the solution is not to always market more. In fact, the problem could lie in the way that you are marketing right now, and the tactics you are using. Try and experiment a bit, and think about the exact customer you want to be targeting. By utilising demographics, you will soon find that this is easier than ever to do.

Lack of Understanding

People don’t usually buy products based on price alone. They take into account the benefits that the product has to offer. If your customers asked you what were the main benefits of your products, what would you say? How would you get them interested? Things like this are vitally important and you do have to make sure that your marketing is centred around this. Another thing that you need to think about is if your customers can actually see the value in your product as well. You can use the benefits of your product to try and create a perceived value. This will help you to make more sales and it will also help you to get a better level of understanding in terms of your product offerings.

Inaccessible Location

Customers will not buy what is not accessible to them. Customers need ease of convenience. How do you make your product more accessible to them? Do you put it in a different location? Do you distribute it differently? By doing this, you can then see if you can make any of the required changes and you can also help yourself to target the right demographic. It helps to move your business online where possible as well. If your business is online then consider looking into an international market. When you do this, you can then feel assured knowing that you can sell to the entire world and this can unlock a lot of potential.

Hard Work

Is your checkout process hard work? If you only accept cash payments, then this will really be holding your business back. Card payments are the future, so if you want to delve into this then you need to try and accept payments with the [PayAnywhere app]. When you do this, you can then feel good knowing that you can serve your customers efficiently and that you are also putting in then work to give them the support they need with their potential order.
