11th Annual Transition
Resource Fair!

The Desert/Mountain SELPA Career Technical Education team is sponsoring a Transition Resource Fair, scheduled on April 23, 2019, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Desert Mountain Educational Service Center (DMESC) located at 17800 Highway 18, Apple Valley CA, 92307. The fair will provide parents, students with disabilities, educators, and all who attend, with information regarding resources and services available to students transitioning from school to adult life.

We are excited to offer you an opportunity to participate in our 11th Annual Transition Resource Fair and welcome representation from your area. We also respectfully request your assistance in encouraging students with disabilities in grades 9 through 12 to attend this event. Parent letters will be mailed to the homes of each student with an Individualized Educational Program (IEP) on or before March 20, 2019. Door prizes will be available. Please come and join us.

2018/2019 California PBIS Recognition System

Important Information

  • Visit PBIS CA to review the Recognition Criteria along with helpful videos.
  • Use 2019 Recognition-At-A-Glance to guide your process.
  • Collect all information prior to starting application process.
  • Read and follow all directions carefully.
  • Be sure to complete application by May 17, 2019. There will be no extensions.
  • Each school must have an External Evaluator who completed the External Review Evaluator Training (ERAT) after 8/1/2017 and before the completion of the TFI.
