Happy Equinox!
The first day of Spring is upon us, and with it, all things Spring have sprung forth! The Spring Break has the kids out and about, the spring weather means we're out in t-shirts, and spring fever* has us smiling from ear to ear!
The Big Kids Club at both centres have been fieldtripping all week, and the Tuesday and Wednesday teachers at both centres have updates on the blog.
With the spring back in our step, after the last bit of winter blues, our Spring Swap has been rescheduled to April 7, and we're getting ready to spring into action.

BKC Rainbow Spring - Updates!
The month of March has been jam-packed with fieldtrips, experiments, performances, and more! Big Kids Club Rainbow Spring has something for every taste. In every colour!
Green Eggs & Ham - with Chelsea, Wed. @Storybook
 Did you know Theodore Seuss wrote the Cat in the Hat with only 225 words?
Did you know Chelsea and the Big Kids mapped their way through the Bloedel Conservatory last week, birdwatching, and singing all the way? The kids who were there have been talking about it, non-stop ;)
When Chelsea sets out to do something, the results are often hilarious. And like the good doctor*, she loves to spend her time with kids! This season is off to a colourful start! Find the stories on the blog.

Jobs and Occupations - with Ayumi, Wed. @Broadway
 When Ayumi was a child, she wanted to be a daycare teacher, when she grew up. Lucky for us!
In Jobs and Occupations, Ayumi is inspiring the kids to start thinking about their futures, and where they might like to work.

Lifecycles - with Ehlssie, Tues. @Storybook
 The cycles of the world are fascinating to Ehlssie. She's interested in metamorphosis, and making sure the Big Kids are properly impressed by the biological phenomena that happen every.. year, season, lifetime, again and again, and again. Civilizations: Greece - with Aïda, Tues. @Broadway
 The seven liberal arts, for the well rounded person of Ancient Greece, included language, logic, and speech, and even time, numbers, and motion! No wonder the civilization flourished!
This season, Aïda introduces the athletes and Olympians, the gods of legend, and the Trojan trickery. It's a blast through time, Tuesdays at Broadway, until the end of May. Find out more, here.

Last but not least, or not least important, at least...
Recently, you may have heard of childcare benefit increases and programs to make childcare more affordable to BC families, unless they attend at Buddings.
