The SBA and the Career Center offer all students the opportunity to have a photograph taken by a professional photographer this week.  To sign up for a time to have your photo taken, please click one of the above dates. Photographs will be taken in the Career Center (Burns 310).

You may have heard that a fellowship is a good way to launch your public interest career. But what is a post-graduate fellowship, exactly? How are they funded? How do they work?

Join the Career Center and a panel of successful fellowship applicants to learn about:

• the types of post-grad fellowships that are available
• the value of a fellowship and the experence of being a fellow
• the application processes and timelines for major fellowship programs
• application and interview tips.

A Workshop About Utilizing LinkedIn

Wednesday, March 27, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Tasher Great Room

This program will cover using LinkedIn to:

• Connect with GW Law alumni and others who can help you in your job search
• Enhance your LinkedIn profile, summary, and presence
• Search for people in practice area specialties in a variety of geographic areas, and other tips

Katherine White, Director of Employer Outreach and Recruitment in the Career Center, will lead this workshop for students interested in improving their networking skills.  Katie has many years of experience in large law firm recruiting and professional development before coming to GW Law in 2010.
