By now you should have your calendars marked and be ready to attend the Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of Boston being held this Monday, March 25. However, you might be wondering what will happen during the 6:15pm pre-presbytery church outreach.

It is literally a time before the official meeting for local churches to discuss successes, failures, and new ideas about reaching out to their local communities. It is a brief discussion because this event can only be so long, and to encourage following up with one another about interesting ideas outside of official Presbytery meetings.

The outreach discussion will be followed by a light dinner at 6:30pm and the business meeting at 7:00pm.

The meeting packet is now available on our website. Click the image below to access it.

Join members from Boston, Northern New England, and Southern New England Presbyteries for a retreat focused on vital congregations and new worshiping communities. We will gather at The Margate on Winnipesaukee, Laconia, NH.

The Rev. Dr. Kathryn Threadgill, the Director of Vital Congregations for the Presbyterian Mission Agency, will lead us through the key resources related to the Vital Congregations initiative.

This retreat is being underwritten by a grant from the Synod of the Northeast that seeks to spark transformation through leadership development. The cost per person is $50 for food and meeting expenses.
