Gordon Davis, former president of the Maryland State
Beekeepers Association and the Hagerstown Valley
Apian Society, passed away in February of 2015.
He was the owner of Bee Tree Farms and Antietam
Bee Supplies in Hagerstown. All of his Bee Equipment
(an entire shipping container full), both new-in-box and
used, have been ferried to Cochran’s Auctioneers at
7704 Mapleville Road, Boonsboro, MD 21713. It will
be part of their two-day Spring Equipment Auction,
April 12th and 13th. Everything including: complete
hives, wooden shallow, medium and deep supers, cases
of nails, smokers, queen excluders, extractors, hive tools,
pollen traps, observation hives, beekeeping books, cases
of honey jars and squeeze bottles, lids, chunks of 100%
beeswax, sheets of colored beeswax for candle making,
molds, wicking, wax melters, How-To Candle Making
Books, etc.
