City of Rancho Cucamonga received a Platinum Beacon Spotlight Award for Energy Savings in 2018
New resource library gives cities an energy efficiency blueprint for climate action
Institute for Market Transformation - The City Energy Project, a national initiative to create healthier and more prosperous American cities by improving the energy efficiency of buildings, recently distilled their lessons learned and best-in-class practices into the City Energy Project Resource Library.
Beacon Program award application period opens
Institute for Local Government (ILG) - The ILG is inviting cities and counties in various stages of climate action planning and implementation to apply for its Beacon Program, which honors voluntary efforts by local governments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, save energy, and adopt policies that promote sustainability. Submission deadline for award applications is June 1, 2019.  
New report focuses on building climate justice through investing in energy efficiency
Food & Water Watch - This report makes the case for why energy efficiency investments should be part of any national strategy to address the climate crisis as well as to spur job creation to curb America’s growing economic inequality.
The first Advanced Energy Rebuild in Santa Rosa completed 
Clean Coalition - The “All Electric Home with Solar + Storage” incentive package being offered by Sonoma Clean Power (SCP) as part of their Advanced Energy Rebuilt (AER) program is helping to upgrade and modernize Santa Rosa homes that were destroyed in the 2017 Tubbs Fire.

Cal-OP ACE Program Buyer Survey
You are invited to participate in a research survey to better understand how government and other organizations are purchasing cost-effective energy related products. This research, funded by the California Energy Commission, is part of the California Opportunities for Accelerating Clean Energy (Cal-OP ACE) Program, an effort seeking to increase the uptake of distributed energy resources (DER) technologies among California institutions.

Civic Spark Partner Recruitment - Second Priority Deadline May 3rd
CivicSpark, a Governor’s Initiative AmeriCorps program dedicated to building capacity for local public agencies to address emerging environmental and social equity resilience challenges, is now accepting partner applications for the 2019-2020 Service Year.
