Spirited Springtime Blessings!

As we welcome April and celebrate the season of Springtime, birth and renewal, may we rejoice in the unfoldment of Nature's glorious beauty and all manifestations of Infinite Intelligence, knowing that life continues.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our inspirational speakers last month: Paul Schaffer, DC, Tracey Bolton, CM, the Rev. Dr. Julia Kyle and Annie J. Dahlgren. My sincere personal thanks to Tracey Bolton and Paul Schaffer for stepping up to ensure the continuity of our church services during my two week absence so that I could heal and recuperate. Our Mediums' Day was a lovely and well attended event and we are thankful to all in both the seven and unseen realms who blessed and supported us in their own individual ways.

This Sunday, April 7, we are deeply honored to welcome from Arizona, The Rev. Havivah Richards, NST, as we dedicate our service commemorating The Rev. Dr. Sandra Cook, mother of Havivah and late Pastor of our church. We hope you can join us to share in this special day.

On Sunday, April 14, we are delighted to welcome speaker Rod Lathim, director, playwright and author of "The Spirit of the Big Yellow House," now in its Third Edition, which tells the story of the beginning of the Spiritualist community here in Summerland where our church began. (Please see flyer for a very special and “Spirited” event Sunday Eve, April 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.)

On Easter Sunday, April 21, Tracey Bolton, CM and I will serve as speakers, and on April 28 we welcome back our dear friend, The Rev. Dr. Julia Kyle. Our Annual Membership Meeting will be held at 1:30 pm April 28, 2019 following the service and potluck.

The Spiritualist Church of the Comforter is eagerly looking forward to the return visit of Robin Hodson in May!
