The meeting will take place via Skype in two locations: Calgary and Edmonton

JOIN OUR BOARD!!!
Alberta Playwrights’ Network believes that every story deserves an audience and every voice deserves to be heard and we are looking for a few dedicated superheroes to join our Board of Directors to assist us with our goals.
We are looking for individuals from across the province to support our mission of providing programming, services, outreach, advocacy, and education to the playwriting community in Alberta.
We are looking for nominees who are passionate about theatre.
Board members are elected to a three- year term for a maximum of two terms and are expected to:
- participate in board meetings (10 meetings a year – 8 conference call, AGM, one in person board retreat)
- participate on a board committee
- provide whatever resource you can to the operations of the organization.
Knowledge and skills in governance, finance, fundraising, human resources are an asset, but not a requirement. Most importantly we want engaged individuals at the table.
APN is a small, vibrant, and nimble organization. The board is a working and governance board. If you have ever thought about joining a board but feel that you lack experience – this is the board for you.
What can you expect from the board experience?
