This Weekend in Worship
Preaching: Pastor Steve Knudson
Sermon: "Smelly Grace"
In the first reading, the Apostle Paul compares Jesus to everything else in life. There is nothing better. In the Gospel, Judas misinterprets as waste Mary’s extravagant act of anointing Jesus’ feet with costly perfume. Jesus recognizes that her lavish gift is both an expression of love and an anticipation of his burial.
Scripture Readings:
Philippians 3:4b-14 John 12:1-8 NRSV
Special Music:
5 p.m. Violin Soloist
9:00 a.m. High School Handbells
11:15 a.m. Adult Choir
Affirmation of Baptism! This weekend we are celebrating with 16 of our youth who will be affirming their baptismal promises at the 9 & 11:15 a.m. worship services.

It's A Milestones Weekend for Grades 2-4!
Milestones is a series of classes in which children learn about the "whos, whats, whys, and hows" of the faith, and equips parents as the primary developers of faith in their children. This weekend we ask that at least one parent of kids in 2nd through 5th Grade accompany their children to their Sunday Morning Learning classes.
