You may have heard Apple in the news the last couple weeks announcing new products. They announced 5 service-based products at their “It’s show time” launch event on March 25. Before that event, Apple announced updates to the iPad Air, iPad Mini, and AirPods. Then, one day after the iPad announcement, the new iMac was announced.
Even though these products were rumored, I was a little surprised to see so many products announced.
In this edition, I will do a quick review of some products announced. We will take a deeper dive with the new products in upcoming editions.
Apple Hardware Announcements

Starting at $499, the new iPad Air features a 10.5-inch Retina display and the same A12 Bionic processor used in the iPhone XS. The new iPad Air sits between the 9.7-inch iPad introduced last year, which starts at $329, and the 11-inch iPad Pro, which starts at $799.

iPad Mini Updated
The new $399 iPad Mini will replace the aging iPad Mini 4, which had been left virtually unchanged by Apple since its debut in 2015. The screen and bezel has not changed in size, and it doesn't have Face ID or USB-C ports -- found on other recent Apple tablets -- it does now have a much faster A12 processor.
Apple TV+ is the name of Apple's new television service that will be home to the original TV shows and movies that are funded by Apple. There are more than 30 shows in the works. The new streaming service where the most creative minds in TV and film tell the kinds of stories only they can.
