News of two new events.

Managing Complex Neuro Conditions in the Community

June 25th, Birmingham

Wherever you work, be it primary, secondary or community based care, this P-CNS event will help you gain the knowledge to assist in making those neurological conditions categorised as ‘complex’, less so, and support a coordinated multidisciplinary approach to care that supports the quality of life of patients and their families. Read more about the day here. We have been given 20 places at the special rate of £45. Quote CTN45 in the promotional code box of the online booking form, if you wish to attend.

The Science and Art of Health Longevity

21 and 22nd June, Cardiff

Lifestyle medicine involves the use of evidence-based lifestyle therapeutic approaches, such as diet, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management, amongst others. Some rehabilitation services already recognise the benefits of a Lifestyle Medicine approach, such as the use of  gardening to support mental health and stroke rehabilitation. If you want to learn more about what Lifestyle Medicine has to offer community therapists, why not go along to the BSLM conference in Cardiff.
