Reminder About Illness:

Good afternoon Families of MTC,

A child who is sick will not be able to perform well in school and is likely to spread the illness to other children and staff. We suggest making a plan for childcare ahead of time so you will not be caught without a comforting place for your child to stay if he/she is ill.

We are asking that if your child is exhibiting any signs of this, that you please keep him/her home until he/she is symptom free for 24 hours. Some germs will even last up to 2 days. This policy is important anytime a child is sick and we are grateful for your support in this matter.

If your child becomes ill at school and the teacher or school staff member feels the child is too sick to benefit from school or is contagious to other children, you will be called to come and take him/her home from school.

As a school, we take preventative measures by disinfecting classrooms, halls, desks, doorknobs, etc.  When a child gets sick, our staff members clean it, and our cleaning company does an even more thorough job.

Many Blessings,
Ms Pagan

Shaping hands, hearts and minds,
