Edmonton’s Greenwood Singers, under the direction of Robert de Frece, closes its 39th season with Sing Me a Love Song.

Join us for a diverse program opening with madrigals by Thomas Weelkes, John Farmer, John Dowland and Thomas Morley. The theme of love continues with works by Healey Willan, Daniel Gawthrop, C. Armstrong Gibbs, Z. Randall Stroope, David Dickau, Robert H. Young, Ralph Vaughan-Williams, and Eric Whitacre. The balance of the program includes popular love songs by George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Leonard Bernstein. Don’t miss this evening of romantic songs from Renaissance to Broadway.

The choir will be joined by pianist Helen Stuart, bassist Jeff Johnson and percussionist Murray Smith.
