Annual Meeting
Join us for our Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 2nd from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the downtown Fargo Public Library.  Gerald Van Amburg, retired ecologist, will present "Living in the Anthropocene".  In addition, awards will be presented, updated bylaws will be reviewed, new board members will be elected and outgoing board members will be recognized. All are invited to attend this free event.
Register to Raise One Up
Join us for a new event at the Fargo Brewing Company on Monday, April 15 between 5-8 p.m.  Register during “Register to Raise One Up” for one of River Keepers paid events (Race the Red, How to Make Your Own Rain Barrel Workshop, How to Make Your Own Compost Tumbler Workshops (sorry, these are currently sold out!), River Paddling Excursions, Catfish Cup Golf Scramble, Celebrate Our Red) or become a new member to receive one free pint from Fargo Brewing Company and one River Keepers dry bag (while supplies last). In addition, get your name in a drawing for River Keepers swag once for every event registration or new membership. Socialize with other fun people interested in the Red River.


 
Canoe & Kayak Rental Staff at Hjemkomst Landing

Do you enjoy nature and being outdoors? Consider working at the Canoe and Kayak Rentals at Hjemkomst Landing this summer! 

Canoe and Kayak Attendant ($10.38-$11.73).  Position will be in charge of handling public rentals of canoes, kayaks, life jackets, and paddles. This person will also be assisting with summer River Paddling Excursions once a month. Hours will vary. Weekday evenings and weekends.

Canoe and Kayak Coordinator ($12.98-$14.67)
Responsibilities include planning, implementing and supervising activities for canoe and kayak rentals. Must possess strong leadership and communication skills. Experience supervising staff and working with canoes and kayaks preferred. Hours are Tuesdays 6-8 pm, Saturdays and Sundays 1-6 pm, monthly River Paddling Excursions 5:30-8 pm on Wednesdays, and organizing special group paddling rental reservations as requested. Program runs from May to mid-September.
