The Great Vigil of Easter

Saturday, April 20 | 8 pm
On the Great Vigil of Easter, we walk by candlelight and sing, “How blessed is this night, when earth and heaven are joined together!”

Our service begins outside in darkness while the new fire of Easter is lit. After we remember and respond to the stories of the people of God, we will reaffirm our baptismal vows and celebrate with jubilation the first Eucharist of Easter.

Our youth and adult confirmands will lead the people of Grace in this powerful, ancient liturgy of the church, one of remembrance and renewal. All are invited. Bring a bell to ring Easter in!
Greeting the Dawn on Easter Morning

Sunday, April 21 | Before Sunrise
All are welcome to join a Grace community gathering to greet the dawn on Easter morning. We will begin in the dark, fireside, and finish with the sunrise. For information, contact Wendy Tyner or Beulah Downing.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES
This Sunday: The Little Community

On the first Sunday of every month, Grace gathers for The Little Community, where kids join with adults and each other to experience prayers, worship, a homily, and simple songs.

Kids have long joined their families for worship on First Sundays at Grace. On Little Community days, your children will begin with you in the sanctuary, have special time during the service with Wren, leave for prayers and singing in the classroom, and then rejoin you for Eucharist. They'll also come together in the center of the sanctuary to help sing the closing song.

As our children grow in worship, so do we all! Questions? Let Kim know
Rahim's Pangolin
Did you know that in one of her incarnations outside Grace, Kimberly Cockroft is an author? Kim recently published the children's story "Rahim's Pangolin," set near where she was born in Bangladesh. Check it out in the February edition of Cricket Magazine!

Attention Adults: Want to Serve at Camp Resurrección?

From July 14-20, Grace youth and adults will head to Mount Vernon to provide a great camp experience for the children of La Iglesia Episcopal de la Resurrección.

It's time to start planning!
  • We'd like to reserve a house for Grace adults and need 10 confirmed adults before moving forward.
  • Start thinking about the type of role you'd like to fill, e.g., camp station leader, meal prep, driver.
Email Kim to express your interest in either or both of the above. You'll find more information on our blog.
