We rarely (never!) send out 2 newsletters in one week, but we couldn't wait to share the good news with you!
Over the last 48 hours over 20 different people responded to our water challenge! The result:
We raised $14,287.50! (including the matching donation). That's literally half of what we had raised during the whole campaign so far - in just 48 hours! We are now over $40,000, which was our "soft" or budgeted goal. Thank you for your amazing and inspiring generosity.
That also means over $4,000 will go to those in radical poverty in need of clean water in Nicaragua - how awesome!
Combined with the youth pancake fundraiser which brought in over $1,000, our church raised over $15,000 in 48 hours that will impact generations to come! What a joy to be a part of such a giving group of people. Let's celebrate together (and on Sunday!) this unique work of God's Spirit among us!
