Autumn Newsletter 2019

It's awards time! Three of our team achieved nationwide awards over the last couple of months.
We highlight our weight loss clinic, and introduce you to an easier way to pay your vet bills with Genoapay.
You may have noticed a couple of new faces around the clinic! We will introduce you to our fabulous new staff!

Bruce's Brain Scan

Bruce, the Bernese Mountain Dog came to us having suddenly developed seizures. As part of his workup to find the cause and correct medication, we took him for CT scanning. Luckily, we didn't find any tumors in his brain and his is currently doing well on anti-seizure meds.

Can we get some love for Fluffy?!?
He has been on our Royal Canin weight management program for the past year and has recently reached his goal weight!!!
He started at a cuddly 7.9kg and is now a slim 5.5kg
Well done Fluffy!!!

Becky - Finalist In the NZVNA Veterinary Nurse of the Year

Congratulations to our wonderful nurse Becky. Becky was nominated for the New Zealand Vet Nurse Association veterinary nurse of the year. Becky was one of the top three finalists. We are all so proud of you Becky!

Our Vet Zoe is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to work in July.
Our Head Nurse Zoe is with us for another month and will be on maternity leave from Easter, until early 2020

Our fantastic Head Nurse Zoe has won The Pet Plan 2018 Vet Nurse of the year. All of the hard work and dedication to our clinic and patients is greatly appreciated. We are all so proud to have two of our nurses go up for awards this year!
