Here we go! The March has ended, the last snow has fallen (hopefully), and boats are hitting the water. Another great season is in front of us, and I wish you plenty of sailing days. The opportunities are there you just have to take it.

Taking the fleet to new heights

Our production team has always been busy as bees, but this March they have pushed themselves even harder and delivered boatloads or better yet truckloads of, well, boats. Read more about our record-breaking production month on the link below.

The Registrations

The Sillverrudder registration frenzy is behind us all the slots are sold out. Great to see a big turn-out in our community again. Forty-one challengers, some veteran hard bastards some still apprentices. Out of those 41, there are 19 18s, 9 24s and 13 27s.

If you want a good test before the Challenge of the sea, you have missed the registration or singlehanded racing is just not for you, you can still join the Vegvisir race and 14 teams already on the list. 

Monocup and CEC

The first round-the-cans races are just around the corner (oh, so punny), and we are impatiently waiting for the day that we meet again on the race field. One of the opportunities for you to test yourself is in Izola on Porta Cup where we expect a strong turnout (20+) in the 18 class, and it would be nice to add some more 24 teams. Soon after follows Traunsee Woche which also counts as a part of the Central European Cup.

Spi Ouest

For more than 40 years the Spi Ouest in La Trinité-sur-Mer, France, has been the joy of many sailors, whether professional or amateur. Over the years, the event has become a real institution that brings more than 3000 sailors and over 400 boats to a small French village famous in the sailing world. The regatta is now a part of FIRST Cup series consisting of Spi Ouest, G-Pen and Beneteau Cup raced on the First 24s. The fleet of 15 24s will be there, and so will we to bring you the news.
