This is a midweek update with just two messages ahead of the regular weekly news on Thursday night.
Hurling Championship
It's the start of the Dublin Hurling Championship season this weekend with all four of our teams in action.
We've had great success across Senior, Intermediate and Junior in recent years and part of that has been down to the great support gathered en route to Croke Park or O'Toole Park.
The journey begins again with the Senior team taking on St Brigids at O'Toole Park on Saturday at 5.15. The Senior B's are away to Naomh Barróg in Kilbarrack with a 6pm start.
The 3rd team travel to Ballyboden for an 11am start on Sunday while the 4ths are in Junior E action at home in Shanganagh to Fingallians at 3pm.
All support very welcome.
Dermot Earley Leadership
Want to make a difference in people's lives?
An opportunity has come up for two Cuala adults to train and deliver the Dermot Earley Youth Leadership programme in Cuala next September.
This is a great course which can set our young boys and girls up for a life of leadership roles and will always look good on their CV's and application forms as they make their way through life.
Training is in NUIG on the weekend of April 13/14th (course fees and all expenses paid). There is then an additional weekend in Croke Park in early September.
We have an opportunity to deliver the programme here in Cuala this year but only so long as we get two people trained up.
The applications have to be in this week so if you are interested or would like to know more please email
