Thank You Corner:
Lakeshore Greening Day

Special THANKS to Amy MacWilliamson for organizing, Ms. Martha Luna for spending her day off with us, and all the students and families who stopped by this Saturday. We accomplished a lot in just a few hours – power washed the eating areas, tended to the music garden, weeded the planters in front B14 and B16, and built the awning for the Brazilian honeysuckle. Go Leopards!

Saturday, Apr. 27 (11am-3pm)

Bike & Roll to School Day
Next Tuesday, April 16

Walk, bike, carpool, or take transit to school! These alternatives are good for our bodies, communities and environment. They also can be a great way to sneak in some family time on the way to school. There will be "bike trains" coming from the Outer Sunset and the Central Sunset. The route is easily reached by multiple MUNI lines. Email Laura Batie for details.

Fun activities and prizes! Check out sfsaferoutes.org for more information about this city-wide event. Please sign up at http://bit.ly/ls19wbr if you can help out.

Each performer must demonstrate to Ms Classy on Thursday and Friday the week prior (5/2, 5/3) at lunch time. Meet in cafeteria. See the flyer that will be coming home for more details.
Want a Chance to Win AMAZING Raffle Prizes?
The raffle is one of the PTA's three main fundraisers, after the Annual Giving Campaign and auction. We are asking each family to sell at least two booklets of 10 tickets (worth $40 or more). Booklets were sent home last week.

Be sure to sell tickets to your friends, coworkers, and family! Need a sign to post where you're selling? Download and print this sign.

Adults can get more tickets in the office near Ms. Mao’s desk. If you can't stop by, ask a fellow parent to get some for you or contact pta@LakeshoreElementary.org to have more sent home with your child.

Prizes:
This is an easy way to help Lakeshore and a great chance for someone you know to win an Amazon Kindle, 5 Disneyland 1-Day Park Hopper Tickets (valid through 12/20/2020), or 4 Giants lower box seat tickets to a 2019 regular season home game + opportunity for four to watch batting practice from the field before the game.

The top student seller (by total revenue) wins a $25 Target gift card, and the classroom with highest sales (by total revenue) wins pizza party!

How To:
Return envelope with stubs and appropriate dollar amount to the wooden raffle box in the office by 3:30pm on Friday, April 26 to be counted toward prizes.

Payment by check is preferred.

If you have sold tickets already, great job! However, don't wait until the last day. Turn them in as you go to make it faster to tally results. Plus, you can see if we counted your packet by checking this website post which will be updated through April 26.

Winners will be drawn at Community Superhero Saturday on April 27 and need not be present to win.

Can you help us count money and tickets? Sign up at bit.ly/ls19raffle.
If you are not able to sell your raffle ticket bundles, PLEASE return them to the office so others can sell more. Supplies are limited!
