Students 'Rev Up' their exam revision

Year 11 students at Debden Park High School took part in the annual 'Rev It Up' Day on Tuesday - an initiative designed to highlight and focus the minds over exam revision.
‘Rev It Up’ was introduced some years ago with the school believing it has a significant impact on Year 11 exam results, motivation and purposeful revision.
Exam candidates attended five different revision based sessions - including a Las Vegas themed English department - for a variety of subjects designed to be fun, challenging and exciting.
Students were given a variety of revision resources while parents were invited to join an external speaker who guided them as to how to support their child at home with quick revision tips and distress strategies to support them over the Easter break.
At the end of the day the students joined their parents to celebrate the success of the day and received their Easter revision folders which contain a variety of useful resources ahead of the exams which begin after the Easter holiday.
