Dear OxGrowers,

April has arrived and with it so have all the flowering tree blossoms! It's a wonderful time to be in the garden surrounded by all the budding sprouts.

Our next session is Sunday 7th April, and Sunday 21st 12PM-4PM
Sessions currently run on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month. In the spring, sessions will run weekly - stay posted for updates!

What's on in the Garden

The beds have all been weeded by our diligent volunteers last session. Two hundred and sixty onions have been planted, plus a hundred swedes and the front gate has been filled with over thirty wildflower varieties! How exciting!

This week we'll be planting even more flowers, and we'll be transplanting some of our leafy friends still living in the polytunnel out into the great outdoors.

We are in need of:

More Oxgrow Garden Hosts! (voluntary)

OxGrow Horticultural Planners! (voluntary)

2 x Café Managers (paid)

The deadline for applications is 9am on Tuesday 7th May 2019. Interviews will be conducted at Hogacre Common on Sunday 12th May

Please do think about applying, if you'd like to get more involved in OxGrow. Hosting garden sessions is a fun and easy way of getting more involved in the OxGrow family and helping us be able to open up the garden to more people!

Hogacre Art Show - Call for Applicants!

Saturday 25th May is the Hogacre Art Show! We’re looking for more artists so please do apply! Last year was a big success. You don't have to be an artist to apply, as long as you think you have a creative idea we'd love to hear about it!
