Why neuroengineering is a smart career choice

The current effort to understand and interact with brain circuits is pointing to a world in which neuroscience moves “from observation to causation,” sitting at the intersection of neuroscience and engineering.
Scientists  created a brain-to-brain interface system that allows one or more people to influence the decisions of an individual, with the goal of helping him play a Tetris-like game that only they can see.

 Brane Interface (BI)  is developing a non-invasive brain-computer interface by using a single atomic layer of carbon (graphene). BI has built two proof-of-concept prototypes that use thin polymer membranes.

NeurotechTO hosted Integrating neuroinformatics research with industry, a collaboration between INFC, OBI and NeuroTechX Toronto to bring 70 people together to discuss how better bridge both worlds.
