April is Guest Month for the Barrie County Chordsmen. Men of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy and evening of singing, fun and fellowship. No experience required! This is a great (and FREE!) way to spend a Wednesday evening. Grab your friends and kids (teens and up) and come on out!
We start out with some vocal warm-ups and then get right into singing. Guest books include all the songs we are singing and someone will pair up with you to help you follow along. Songs range from classic Barbershop songs like "Let me call you Sweetheart", fun upbeat numbers like "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", Beatles songs like "When I'm 64" and musical/broadway numbers such as "Consider Yourself" and "Get me to the Church on Time".
At rehearsal you can sign up to get access to our website with some audio learning tracks to help you get into the swing of things faster!
Doors open at 7pm, Rehearsal starts at 7:30 so come early and get to know some of the group. The event ends at 10:00pm.
Guests are welcome all year round, but our "Guest Month" in April is especially fun, so try and make it out to one (or ALL!) of our Wednesday night events this month.
