Get Involved – Take our survey on the Town's Smoking By-law
If you're 19 years or older and live in Newmarket, the Town wants to hear from you! Tell us if you think the Town should prohibit or allow smoking/vaping tobacco and cannabis (also known as marijuana) in areas such as public green spaces, backyards of private residences, public trails, and designated smoking areas on private properties.
The Town will be updating its Smoking By-law and is seeking resident feedback on proposed regulations for smoking and vaping tobacco and cannabis (also known as marijuana) in public and private places. The online survey is now open. The Town will also contact residents via telephone to seek their feedback. The online survey will close on April 30, 2019.
