Prayer Partners!
Thank you for joining with us in prayer as we seek the Lord and bring His Kingdom to earth! Our prayer emails are not flashy (no pictures, ha ha) but the words are jam-packed with ways to pray for our young church. Your prayers make a difference.
"Now the entire group of those who believed were of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but instead they held everything in common. With great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was on all of them." ACTS 4:32-33
Some PRAISES:
- I (Paul) had a great visit to the Dominican Republic and look forward to partnering in that country to spread the Gospel (our efforts will likely start in the fall with child sponsorship).
- For the continued financial support of The Church at LifePark & the SC Baptist Convention - this funding is crucial for us at this point.
- Noticeable interest in the upcoming beach baptism
- Growth in the numbers of those attending worship services, childrens ministry and student ministry
- God's going before us in our community - He is helping us build a positive reputation in our city
REQUESTS OVER THE NEXT MONTH:
1. Passion & Enthusiasm for sharing the Gospel! Pray that the core folks of DeepWater would get a deep love for those in their DL3 - which stands for 'Deeply Loved 3'. Our DL3 are those that are in our lives that are close to use but far from the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. These are folks that God has in our lives where we LIVE, LEARN, WORK & PLAY.
*We want to see our community changed because of Jesus!
2. D*Groups (in-home small groups) are meeting into May and then we will have a different format in the summer. Pray for folks to get a vision for authentic family. Pray for spiritual growth through the Word & prayer. Ask God to stir new folks attending DWC to get involved.
3. Pray that our DeepWater family would be passionate about spending time with Jesus through out the week. Our desire is that our church family would embrace a personal responsibility for their spiritual growth.
4. We love all generations. This summer we are providing camps and VBS for the Next Generation, pray we would be faithful in getting children and youth to Jesus. Pray also that the Lord would give us favor with older people on the islands.
5. For the hiring & training of two summer interns. Pray for a replacement for our Children's Minister position as our current Children's Minister, Alex Casale, will be leaving staff at the end of June to get married and move to Wisconsin.
6. The Leadership Team that meets on Monday mornings and gives guidance in important areas - pray for our May 6 Evaluation and Planning meeting. Follow this link to see the team and pray for them by name - https://deepwaterchurch.cc/about-us/leadership

7. Worship services (5pm Sundays) would be full of the Holy Spirit's freedom & power. Lift up the preaching of the Word, music, prayers, those who are speaking and other elements of the worship gathering. Specific Sunday focuses: April 7 Lay Leader Nathan Dewey preaching | April 14 Palm Sunday's strong Gospel presentation | April 21 Easter Celebration | May 5 Prayer & Worship Night | May 12 Beach Baptism
*Currently our worship space is large enough, but we anticipate needing to look into a larger space in the near future because of worship service growth and more so outgrowing the current children's area.
