Welcome to April, everyone! For those of you in church leadership, this is the busiest time of the year as you prepare for Easter. More people will walk through the doors of your churches on Easter Sunday than any other time of the year, many of whom will make decisions to follow Christ on that incredibly special day. Praise Jesus!

Imagine for a moment what must have been going through Jesus' mind as He prepared Himself for the pain He would suffer, the agony He would face, all out of His immense love for us. With all of the chaos circling His mind, I love what Jesus does the day prior to His death. He reclines at a table set for His twelve disciples and Himself. In some of His last moments walking the earth, He shares a meal with His friends – those who had become His family. 

I'm sharing all of this with you because I believe it is crucial that we take time during this busy season to reflect and literally sit down at the table with our friends and family. Jesus rejoiced in His last meal with His disciples. Let us follow His example and enjoy time with those in our communities.
