APR. 13 ITALIAN REGIONAL CUISINE - WORKSHOP
Saturday, 5 PM, at the PIA
Second of a series of 5 workshops with Chef Salvatore Arria, this demo-cooking will focus on a classic such as LASAGNE, made easy for all those who love to cook (and eat) Italian but don't have much time.
Program of the workshop includes a cultural intro, demo-cooking and Feasting!

The Philippine Italian Association is partnering with UP Film Institute to celebrate, once again, the great Italian filmmaker, Bernardo Bertolucci, who passed away last November 2018.
Professor Nick Deocampo, a multi-awarded filmmaker himself and much esteemed film historian, will talk about Bertolucci's work, focusing on his 1970 movie that will be screened that night: Il conformista (The Conformist). This screening is part of a series of screenings and talks by Professor Nick Deocampo focused on Fascism and Cinema.

For the 4th consecutive year, the Philippine Italian Association is participating in the Día del Libro (Book day) organized by the Instituto Cervantes.
This year, thanks to the donation of the Italian publisher, PANOZZO EDITORE, the PIA will be distributing FREE books in Italian language (Italian literature, World literature, travel books, cuisine, ...)!
Schedule: Morning (9 to 12) Monday to Friday. From April 11 to June 06.
36 sessions (of 3 hours) - 108 hours.
PHP 15,000.00 (including handouts; free orientation on job opportunities for Italian language speakers; free access to the PIA's library and video-library; final exam.)
Venue: The Philippine-Italian Association, 2F Zeta Building, 191 Salcedo Street, Legaspi village, Makati City.
We are now forming a group for the Beginner Level 1.
