Thanks to everyone who attended the first two Council of Clubs meetings this year to talk about rules changes for clubs.
The Club Development Committee captured notes from the discussions that are accessible
here.
The Central Committee discussed some of these proposals at their March 19th meeting.
The Admin Committee will discuss draft rules changes at their meeting this Friday April 6, 10AM at the SDCDP Office, 8340 Clairemont Mesa Blvd., Suite 105, San Diego, CA 92111.
Then the Central Committee will vote on those proposed rules changes at their April 16th, 6:30PM meeting at IBEW Local 569, 4545 Viewridge Ave #100, San Diego, CA 92123.

Kevin Lourens has shared an invitation to join the San Diego Progressive Democratic Club, CYD Progressive Caucus, PDA California, California Democratic Party Progressive Caucus and Our Revolution North County at their CDP Chair Candidate Forum!
They will welcome all 5 candidates running for Chair, or their surrogates, where you can hear about who they are, and how they will take our Party on a progressive path.
Questions can be submitted through an online form
here. There will be an option to submit questions in person at the forum itself as well. Preferably the questions will be technical regarding the responsibilities of the Chair, but questions on policies and experience may be picked. Similar questions submitted the most will be picked.

Our next Council of Clubs meeting is on Saturday April 20, 10AM at IBEW Local 465, 7444 Trade St, San Diego, CA 92121.
Our featured speakers will be Nancy Casady talking on the Climate Crisis, and Katherine Hogue talking on Money out of Politics.
We'll also discuss the implications of any rules changes, and we'll discuss some guidelines for Accessibility at club meetings, the use of gender pronouns, and the use of email, text and voice when messaging club members.
