Some of you might remember about a few years year ago I wrote an impassioned newsletter about the devastation that can follow killing a beloved LGBT character and my promise to always do queer women justice on the page. Now there’s a conference devoted to celebrating queer women in media. Writers, producers, actors, scholars, and community activists are coming together next week in Las Vegas at ClexaCon to talk about all things queer, female, and media-related.

It's a lot of fun!

I have the honor once again of being one of the many presenters at this year’s conference. I’ll be partnering with with my publisher, Sapphire Books, to present a panel titled "Are Butch/Femme Characters Outdated?"
