Question 1: From the list, which events are you interested in?
70% Would like to participate in adventure activities
70% Preferred theme events, group tours, parties and social activities
60% Showed an interest in holistic activities (massage, yoga, etc.)
36%  Were attracted to arts and craft activities

60% Preferred a weekend event
50% Would do a whole week
45% Felt a day would be long enough
32% Could manage half a day

Question 6: Comments
Thirty two guys made comments, mostly about how much they love and appreciated our existence and look forward to another visit.
This is very validating feedback.

Some comments were more specific, such as some guys are put off by my (Peter)  confrontational , even rude, mode of communication.
I apologise profusely. At times I am an emotional and thoughtless being.
Others praised Pete's cooking, mentioned the need for a hot tub, and that as we have aged we have less energy to do some of the fun things we did in past times like oil wrestling. True!
It was great that twelve men (out of 450) were keen to lead some special events. This is in accordance with studies done measuring who actually facilitates cultural, sporting, educational and social activities in a community, such a New Zealand town or city. Very few turned out, less than 10% of the population are motivators. Most of us are just happy to participate.
Overall, the survey feedback suggested we are already meeting the expectations of men who come to Autumn Farm on vacations. However, there are areas in which we can improve the experience, specially by introducing new one off events into our annual calendar that focus on particular activities as highlighted in this survey.
