Breakthrough 1 Year Training

We’re now into our spring semester where we begin to take a more in depth look at various types of abuse, the impact each area has, and most importantly of all; how to support survivors as they take their first tentative steps into healing and restoration.

These training sessions are often very difficult as we open up some hard topics, so please pray for our trainees as they study and process the information from our March training and prepare for our next sessions (27-28th April and 17-19th May).

Breakthrough is Hiring!

Executive Assistant/Project Manager (part-time) - closing date 17/04/2019

We’re looking for an approachable, friendly, forward thinking and proactive person to join our very small team part-time, to take on general administrative tasks, help us broaden the reach of the charity, and assist us with existing services and new projects.

What's Coming Up

Run For Breakthrough

After the success of our runners over the winter, we’re signed up for 2 more big events! 

• Bristol 10k on 5th May 2019 
• Bath Half 2020 on 15th March 2020

These events are a great opportunity to help fundraise for Breakthrough through sponsorship so we can continue to provide support for people across Bath and Bristol. But we also know that exercise, goals and team activities are brilliant resources for supporting mental health! That’s why we also have a Facebook group for our runners to keep up with each other while they train, and find encouragement whether it’s for a 5-10k run, a Half Marathon or a long distance hike!
