April marks the Easter holidays and Blue Bermondsey has teamed up with a host of local partners to organise a series of free family events at Blue Market Place. A Fun Tennis Day followed by a Celebration of St George Around The World, will kick off our programme of events, which is followed in May by
The Blue Bermondsey Music Galas
We have also been busy installing new lamppost banners around The Blue area to brighten up the streets, we hope you like them

Free activities for all to celebrate St George Around The World
The Blue Bermondsey BID with the support of United St Saviour's Charity invites everyone to join us for a community fun day out in Market Place, London SE16 3UQ.
The event takes place on Saturday 20th and is preceded by two creative workshops in Blue Anchor Library, on 16th & 17th April.

Workshops, performances, stories on the history of St George, including making, painting, decorating, with paint, pens and collage materials and whatever the imagination conceives, to help build a giant recycled Dragon puppet from paper and cardboard. To do battle with St George.

The Blue Market

Easter Bunny and St George’s dragon get together in The Blue Market with many free activities for all. There will be arts workshops for all ages, an international dance display, the story of St George told by local school children, an Easter egg Hunt, and a crafts and family activities area.

The Galas will be staged on the first Saturday of each month from May to September, giving students and graduates from London’s leading music academies the opportunity to showcase their talent to a wider audience the wider public.

As part of our public realm strategy we recently installed promotional lamppost banners throughout the area.

There’s no party quite like Pop-Up.
It’s a once monthly rave-up at the soon to be demolished Biscuit Factory and it’s FREE. The 6pm start means you can come straight from the office and enjoy cocktails on the terrace. It’s the perfect way to kickstart your weekend. Currently in limbo due to imminent demolition- Pop-Up is gonna make mayhem while the sun shines.
Pop-Up is held on the last Friday of every month and there are planned parties from Friday 26 April/31st May/ 28 June).
