CRIME & SAFETY MEETING MONDAY, APRIL 1

Due to recent incidents that have occurred in our neighborhood, we have called a Crime & Safety meeting for Monday, April 1 at 6:30 pm.
Representatives from the MPD's 2nd Precinct, Ward 3 Council Member Steve Fletcher, and other city officials will be on hand to discuss these recent crimes and take your questions.
We strongly encourage you to attend this meeting at First Congregational Church. Please contact the Marcy-Holmes office with any questions.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING: BYLAWS AMENDMENT PROPOSAL
|
|
|
MHNA has received a significant set of amendment proposals to our organization's Bylaws. In accordance with MHNA policy, this matter will come for a vote at the April 16 General Membership meeting, 6:30 pm, at the Pillsbury A-Mill, 315 Main Street SE.
|
|
Notable Amendments Proposed included, but are not limited to:
- Establishing a voting age of 16
- Allowing non-resident property owners the opportunity to become Members of the Association (see Article IV Section 2 for full details)
- Allowing Non-Resident Members the opportunity to be elected to the Board (see Article VIII Section 1 for full details)
- Increasing total number of Directors-at large seats from 11 to 15
- Elimination of the need to annually renew Membership

The Marcy Arts Gala is a fantastic event to experience! The Gala's live and silent auctions include more than 200 pieces of original art from local and national artists.
This year's Arts Gala will feature music from critically acclaimed musical artist, DJ Tiiiiiiiip, who also happens to be a Marcy graduate. There will be amazing food from local restaurants including nationally renowned Restuarant Alma, Brasa Premium Rotisserie, and Create Catering. Thirsty? Plenty of libations will be served including some tasty local craft brews and cocktails!
