Giant Steps 2018 Release Tasting with Steve Flamsteed - $30
Autumn presents a desirable opportunity to savour those lovely textural White Wines prior to the winter months descending into full blown Red Wine weather. As the nights start to drop a few degrees look to the wines below for breadth, depth and graceful acidity.

Blind Corner Chardonnay Aligote 2018 - $29.00 or $26.10 in any 6

From a single block of wild-fermented Chardonnay, which is slowly being overtaken by Aligoté from their Quindalup vineyard (Margaret River) - all wild fermented in barrel. Textural Chardonnay (91%) provides the base, with zingy citrusy Aligoté (9%) providing the line and drive.

Vidal Estate Hawke's Bay Chardonnay 2017 - $16.00 or $14.40 in any 6

From 3 premium Vineyards in Hawke's Bay (NZ). Fermented in aged small format French Oak and Stainless Steel, lees aging with battonage for 6 months. Think citrus, stonefruit and lovely lifted reduction. Packs an absolute level of complexity, huge value for money.

Domaine Cornu Bourgogne Aligoté 2016 - $33.00 or $29.70 in any 6

A small family owned Domaine in the heart of the Côte-d’Or in the village of Magny-lès-Villers, just outside Nuits-St-Georges. 100% Aligote from a small 0.5Ha holding. Wild fermented in the traditional manner, with elevage in small older oak cask. Aromatic lifts of white stonefruits, spice and sandalwood lead to a classic Cornu palate of texture with calm and relaxed fruit. Finishing bright, crisp and racy.
