The night before my mother’s fatal stroke almost 40 years ago, she quoted:

I honestly feel that I am doing noble things. All of us here at the Dragonfly are doing noble things.

All the interns coming through the Dragonfly are learning important lessons for their lives. All the guests coming through the Dragonfly are happy, feeling grateful to be in this blessed Hawaii location inside “the Ancient Healing Triangle,” pampered by all the loving people living here, relating with other happy people. Dragonfly Ranch is an example of how kind and considerate people can work together cooperatively—while having a heck of a lot of fun!
A LONG HARD WINTER FOR MANY
I can imagine those of you who survived the cold winter are overjoyed to see green returning. Our prayers go out to all the victims of this extreme winter. Natural disasters this past year, starting with fires, then floods, freezing cold, hurricanes, cyclones, tornadoes etc.! And then … unnatural acts of extreme hatred, fear, and racial violence. So…we pray, sending healing, love and peace for all people of the world, regardless of race or religion.

WARNING: REGARDING INHALER
After being extraordinarily healthy for years, I came down with a cold/cough. I exacerbated my condition by using my inhaler every time I had trouble breathing. I discovered the hard way that the drug, Ventolin, in the inhaler I overused when wheezing, has several terrible side effects--like headache, chill/fever, vertigo, rash, diarrhea and tremors—all of which I experienced! That's why I warn people to be careful to not do what I did. I’m glad to say I’m now free of the resulting pneumonia as well as all those other Ventolin-related problems.
HOW LONG, OH LORD?
During my illness, I had time to follow the news as Mueller unraveled crime after crime, finding all the facts that made more and more Trump-affiliated criminals plead guilty.
I ask, “What’s the good of it?” I believe it has made us all more alert and on our toes about choosing elected officials who are representing our wishes. I surely hope our country takes steps, as New Zealand quickly did, to control guns. Why should anyone have the right to own these monstrous killer weapons?

IS COHEN A PALIDIN?
I never thought I’d feel grateful to a criminal who lied for Trump. But when Michael Cohen decided to "come clean," I believe he was sincere in warning us about how REALLY corrupt Trump has been for years and years—and how very dangerous he still is with his lying, racist, divisive tenacity. I can only pray that our president will let go of his threats of invoking a civil war with his gun-toting followers if he doesn’t get his way--and instead embrace some sense of dignity and integrity. While that really doesn't appear to be his style, I can only hope.
Now, with all Cohen’s concrete disclosures, and an active congressional investigative committee, I personally look forward to the time that Trump and his feckless tweets are “obsolete.”

THE GARDEN IS HAPPENING BIG TIME!
Maggie, who has been transforming the whole garden and landscape of Dragonfly over the past year and a half, is one very determined Brit. Exhausted from overworking, she seriously prayed for help from a master gardener.
Last week, Rick Harrell, who gardened at Dragonfly in 1989, suddenly re-appeared to thank me. Now, qualified to teach our interns, he is our dreamed-of “Master Gardener!”
Rick has been looking to heal himself of injuries stemming from a serious accident at age 16. Well…fortunately, Orenda Awaken Kit has been providing Rick with that much needed healing. Using the Awaken Kit, suddenly he has been getting full nights sleep (instead of only 4 hours sleep). And he has been awakening feeling rested!

Our dear Dr. Rolf Bublitz of Tubingen, Germany, has stayed with us every January for the last 25 years. He will be bringing his family to celebrate his 66th birthday next November. Rolf, our star guest and advocate of the Orenda cleanse (link to guide book), offered to teach our young Chef Peter how to make a Loosey Goosey breakfast. Rolf has successfully completed the 10 plus 30 day cleanse three times now! He's a pro!
Loosey Goosey Recipe:
Grind 2 tablespoons Flax
1 tablespoon Chia
pinch of sea salt
then add
1 teaspoon avocado or olive oil
1 cup of hot water in a Bullet blender
blend and add what you wish for savory add;

touch of tumeric with pepper
fresh greens

We continue having more and more stellar interns, coming for 2 or 3 months at a time, often from Europe and Canada. We all feel blessed to be a part of a marvelous group of people working together harmoniously—with a "mighty" purpose.

As Dragonfly continues pursuing our 501(c)3 status as a non-profit educational facility, the Dragonfly Ranch Educational Center, we periodically have speakers sharing their knowledge to enhance life and make the world a better place. Our dear resident shaman, Shola, is our star speaker.
On Sunday, April 7 at 7pm, I will be speaking about the subtle yet profound value of "Flower Essences for Soul Development."

Our German guests staying here for several weeks, Kerstin and Nadine, have created a workshop called "Spirit of the Dolphin" on April 6 and 7 in the illuminarium. It is about finding one's inner calling. "What makes my heart sing and how can I bring this into my daily life" will be the central questions of this joyful workshop. OUR FUR-CHILDREN KEEP US ENTERTAINED
Our little furry family of four super chill Chihuahuas, 1 laid-back Jack Russell/Chihuahua and 3 very sociable Siamese cats, keeps entertaining us: Rumi has that hilarious way of squeak-talking. Iolani resists Rumi’s determination to French kiss her! Our seal point Siamese, Azure, loves to take care of her Chihuahua/kitten, Emmie. Click the image to watch the videos.
AFTER I AM GONE
While I am not in a hurry to leave my body, neither was my mother when she suffered a fatal stroke in her mid 70’s. With this being my 75th year, I have come to believe that it is wise to have my “affairs in order.” For that reason, I created a revocable trust leaving the Dragonfly to those who have been helping make it the fine place it is.
I have also come to realize that many people do not make their wishes known in advance of this inevitable eventuality. (It is said that 10 out of 10 people do die in the end.) In fact, yesterday, a 26 year old young man told me his mother died of a heart attack just one month ago. He was not at all prepared to deal with all the details of such a sudden loss--while in emotional shock. What can make that easier?
MIGHT AS WELL PREPARE, EH?
I'm glad the State of Hawaii has recently passed the law that allows for freedom of choice when suffering terminal illness. “Dying with Dignity” has Five Wishes (link)—a document available for anyone online. The State of Oregon has End of Life Choices at www.eolcoregon.org
For my situation, I am praying that the Dragonfly will become my gift to all those I love—and even for those people I don’t know who dream of having this experience. I have spent 45 years crafting this place and it is my desire, when it is my time to "graduate," the Dragonfly will become my legacy.
