The Voiceover Gallery Newsletter is back for 2019!

The last year has been full of changes for TVG, with a brand new team and a whole host of new voices, and we want the newsletter to be an avenue to keep everyone up to date on the goings-on of The Voiceover Gallery and the media industry at large – covering news, events, and all the fundamentals of voiceover, audio production and localisation, as well as special offers.

We’ll also be publishing guest blogs from a range of people in the industry, from audio engineers to casting agents, big-name voices to translators, and general movers and shakers giving you an inside look at all aspects of what we do here at The Voiceover Gallery.

FEATURED VOICES

Meet Leanne. Leanne has a warm and energetic voice perfect for a range of corporate and commercial projects.

Leanne has been voicing for 5 years since leaving drama school and whilst it wasn’t something she planned to get into she’s now ‘never looked back’ and says a top tip is to use facial expressions, ‘Don't be worried about looking silly, usually it's only you there in the studio anyway. The emotion on your face really carries into the voice!’ Now running her own drama school, you can be assured you are in safe hands with Leanne!

We are constantly updating our foreign database to make sure we have the best foreign voices around. One of these new international voices is Oriane.

Oriane is a French voice, originally from Paris (très chic) and spent some time growing up in Nigeria, where she developed a passion for acting. Now living in London, Oriane records regularly at our West London studios, voicing projects from ad campaigns to flight announcements. She also has experience with comedy performance, and is always flexible with her availability!

9th May - 12th May - One Voice Conference. The UK’s biggest voice conference. This year you can catch our very own founding director, Marylou Thistleton-Smith, speaking on the ‘The Not So Secret Agents of Voiceover’ panel on the 10th May.
