"Church in a Box" is Palau Bound!

Thank you for your prayers over these last few eventful days.  I just want to give you a quick update on how God has answered your prayers directly.  

It is amazing to reflect on how God has provided through so many of you in this journey.  Churches committed, individuals sacrificed and God helped us to meet this goal!  We even met a couple in New Hampshire who completely helped us with the shipping aspect of this project.  They had great wisdom in changing the route of shipping and as a result reduced the shipping cost in half!  

Finally the day arrived for us to pick up the trailer.  On Friday, March 22nd Reid Olson and I arrived at Portable Church Industries in Troy, Michigan and spent the afternoon in training. We hooked the trailer up and began the journey to Greenville, South Carolina that night.  God gave us safety and we arrived in Greenville safely on Saturday morning at 8:30 am. 

My brother David, graciously allowed us to use his warehouse along with all of the equipment needed as a staging area to load the container and even loaned us a large truck to drive up to Michigan.
 
The next big answer to prayer was in loading the 8,000 pound 84 inches wide x 97.5 high foot trailer into a 89 x 101.5 inch opening of the container without damaging it.  Someone once said, “I not only use all the brains I have but also all that I can borrow!”  I am so grateful for several men who really contributed in the process of loading the trailer into the 40 foot container.  We had to remove the axles and create skids to slide the trailer into the container!
