Let's nerd out about podcasting (again)

Shane Lawrence, host of Ed - Conversations about the Teaching Life, asked his Twitter followers about their own podcast setups, and it led to a pretty interesting thread

Shane Lawrence's podcast set up for his weekly show, where he interviews educators from around the world (photo swiped from Twitter).
This prompted Troy Pavlek of Speaking Municipally to share a blog post he had done about his very swanky setup at home.

If don't want to or can't record at home, there's a growing number of places where you can record your podcast, from the studios at the Edmonton Public Library and Calgary Public Library, which you can use for free with your library card, to paid options such as those at Media Lab YYC or Unit B Coworking or any number of coworking spaces and private studios.

(If you run such a studio or space, consider advertising in this newsletter. You'll reach Alberta-based podcasters, podcast listeners and pod-curious people.)
