HAPPENING THIS MONTH

Before the elections, we put together a vision of a future Estonia. What would the civil society look like in 2027 if the propositions from the NGOs would actually be implemented by the government? "Even the interim economic crisis couldn’t manage to get us back at each other’s throats. We were probably saved by the fact that the populist wave that swept the world at the end of the 2010s didn’t manage to damage Estonia too severely and liberal democracy withstood the challenge." We can still hope.

Recently, along with the Open Estonia Foundation, we hosted an event to tackle some of the questions on how to create a better and fairer society. You can listen to the whole discussion "Civil Society: Growing from Reactive to Proactive" from here.
